Central is a supporter of the following organizations and charitable events:
Simpson Cup Annual Golf Tournament. The Simpson Cup began in 2012 and is a Ryder Cup style tournament that showcases the unique position of golf as one of the few sports where players of all skills and abilities can play together on a level playing field. It pairs 13 injured veterans from Great Britain against 13 injured veterans from the United States. The Simpson Cup raises awareness and funds for the On Course Foundation, a charity that offers injured service personnel and veterans an opportunity to participate in golf to help restore self-confidence and provide a sense of purpose after injury.

John T Mather Memorial Hospital’s “One Enchanted Evening” Event. An accredited 248-bed, non-profit community hospital, Mather Hospital’s mission is to provide a wide spectrum of health care services of the highest quality to the residents of Suffolk County in a cost effective manner. This annual event benefits the Fortunato Beast Health Center at Mather Hospital.

Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Jewels and Jeans Annual Benefit Gala.The celebratory evening honors individuals who have outstanding achievements in community service. Proceeds from this event support the organization’s educational programs, Youth Corps and help fund repairs to historic properties.

Summer Food Drive, in cooperation with the Hauppauge Industrial Park and Long Island Cares, Inc. Founded by the late singer-songwriter and social activist Harry Chapin, Long Island Cares provides nutritional food and support services for a network of more than 580 community-based member agencies, including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, child care programs, disability organizations, veterans’ services programs and more. Their broad array of programs includes: Hunger Education, Job Training, Children’s Nutrition, Mobile Outreach, Pet Pantry, School Tools, Emergency Response & Recovery, Veterans’ Services and Government Affairs and Public Advocacy.
