Conflict Minerals Statement

This document details Central Semiconductor’s policy and standard practice regarding the sourcing and utilization of “Conflict Minerals.” Information contained herein is collected from Central’s worldwide supply chain and manufacturing facilities; due diligence has been applied to ensure the accuracy and verification of this information.

Central Semiconductor is committed to conducting its operations in an ethical, as well as socially and environmentally responsible manner. Accordingly, Central fully supports the administrative efforts of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) to eliminate the use of minerals that fund armed conflict and human rights violations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. Additionally, Central is committed to applying due diligence to ensure the continued absence of such materials in its supply chain.

Central’s supply chain partners are under advisement to apply similar due diligence with their supply chain partners to ensure the continued elimination of conflict minerals. Specifically, the conflict minerals that may be used in the manufacture of semiconductor components include: gold, tantalum, tin and tungsten. Central’s supply chain partners are expected to fully comply with the guidelines and disciplines outlined by the RBA as they pertain to these minerals.

In keeping with industry standard and ethical business practices, and based upon information provided by its supply chain, Central Semiconductor uses only minerals sourced through smelters and refiners verified as sourced from conflict free areas.
