Central Semiconductor announces the release of the new CMR5U series of 5 Amp Ultra Fast Recovery Rectifiers in an SMC package. These low cost devices increase the current density by 65% as compared with the CMR3U series 3 Amp devices, which are also packaged in the SMC case. The CMR5U series is available in 200, 400, 600 and 800 rated voltages and offers a high peak forward surge current (I_FSM) of 175 Amps. These highly reliable devices are perfect for use in all types of commercial, industrial, entertainment, computer and automotive applications.
