Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of a new series of discrete semiconductor devices with enhanced performance specifications. The Enhanced Specification series devices have improved electrical specifications compared to many popular standard devices that have remained unchanged for over 25 years. Through the utilization of advanced wafer processing, Central has improved several key electrical parameters. Improved transistor specifications may include: higher maximum voltage, higher hFE, or lower VCE(SAT). Improved diode specifications may include: lower VF or lower IR. An "E" suffix has been added to the Central part number to signify an Enhanced Specification device.
