Central Semiconductor Corp. a nnounces the introduction of the CMSSH-3E series of Enhanced Specification Fast Switching Schottky diodes available in four device configurations. All devices in this new series feature an improved standard maximum rated peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and a maximum rated continuous forward current of 200mA . In addition, the CMSSH-3E series has a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.42V and a fast switching speed (t rr) of 5ns. This new enhanced specification discrete semiconductor series manufactured by Central has been designed for portable handheld electronic products requiring superior performance and reliability in a small surface mount package. The CMSSH-3E series of devices are packaged in the SUPER miniT SOT-323 surface mount case require 38% less circuit board space than similar devices packaged in a standard SOT-23.
