April 28, 2005 – Central Semiconductor Corp. announces the release of the CMLSH05-4DO dual, low V_F Schottky diodes packaged in a PICOmini™ SOT-563 surface mount case. The SOT-563 case utilizes 55% less board space than two (2) individual SOD-523 devices and boasts a maximum profile of 0.6mm. Configured as two isolated devices with an opposing anode/cathode pinout,

each diode has a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V, a high continuous forward current of 500mA, and a low V_F of 0.35V @ 100mA.

The CMLSH05-4DO has been designed for battery-powered applications requiring a low forward voltage drop. The SOT-563 PICOmini™ package is ideal for hand held electronics where small size and light weight is a key requirement.
