April 16, 2008- Central Semiconductor announces the release of the CMAD6001 ultra low leakage diode in the SOD-923 package. This new device is a high quality 100V, 250mA diode with an extremely low leakage current (I_R) of 0.5nA max., and low capacitance of 2.0pF max. Designed for applications requiring an energy efficient diode in an ultra small package, the CMAD60001 in the FEMTOmini™ SOD-923 package utilizes 55% less board space compared to the SOD-523 package, and with a maximum height of 0.41mm, is 48% lower in profile making it ideal for the latest applications for Industrial and Telecom designs. Circuit applications include: reverse polarity protection, signal line protection, secondary side rectification, inverters, DC regulators, and power management applications

The CMAD6001 is available 8,000 pices on 7 ” Tape & Reel. Prices start at $0.08 each for 8,000 pcs on a 7 ” reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
