• 4/15/08 - Central Semiconductor announces the release of the CMAD6001 ultra low leakage diode in the SOD-923 package. This new device is a high quality 100V, 250mA diode with an extremely low leakage current (I_R) of 0.5nA max., and low capacitance of 2.0pF max. Designed for applications requiring an energy efficient diode in an ultra small package, the CMAD60001 in the FEMTOmini™ SOD-923 package utilizes 55% less board space compared to the SOD-523 package, and with a maximum height of 0.41mm, is 48% lower in profile making it ideal for the latest applications for Industrial and Telecom designs. Circuit applications include: reverse polarity protection, signal line protection, secondary side rectification, inverters, DC regulators, and power management applications.

• 3/18/08 - Central Semiconductor announces the release of the FEMTOmini™ CMNT3904E (NPN) and CMNT3906E (PNP) Low V_CE(SAT) transistors, packaged in the ultra tiny SOT-953 surface mount package. These new transistors are designed with enhanced specifications including: a maximum Collector-Base Voltage of 60V (Standard PNP devices are 40V max.), a maximum Emitter-Base Voltage of 6.0V (standard PNP devices are 5.0V max.), and a maximum V_CE(SAT) of 0.2V at 50mA (standard devices are 0.3V for NPN and 0.4V for PNP).  <more>
