description
The Central Semiconductor CMNT3904E (NPN) and CMNT3906E (PNP) are Low VCE(SAT) transistors packaged in the tiny SOT-953 surface mount case. These new transistors are designed with enhanced specifications including: a maximum Collector-Base Voltage of 60V (comparison standard PNP devices are 40V max.), a maximum Emitter-Base Voltage of 6.0V (comparison standard PNP devices are 5.0V max.), and a maximum VCE(SAT) of 0.2V at 50mA (comparison standard NPN devices are 0.3V max. and standard PNP devices are 0.4V max.).
applications

Ideal for most portable handheld electronic devices, these new energy efficient transistors are designed for applications such as:

• DC-DC converters

• Voltage Clamping

• Protection Circuits

• Battery powered equipment including: Cell Phones, Digital Cameras,
  Pagers, PDAs, Laptop Computers, etc.
