Uni-Directional and Bi-Directional versions
     

Due to Industry demand for 3000W TVS devices, Central Semiconductor Corp. is featuring its 3SMC5.0A thru 3SMC170A (Uni-Directional) and 3SMC5.0CA thru 3SMC170CA (Bi-Directional) Transient Voltage Suppressors packaged in the SMC surface mount case. Both series include devices with Reverse Stand-off Voltages ranging from 5V thru 170V, a Peak Forward Surge Current rated at 200A maximum, and an Operating and Storage Junction Temperature range of -65°C to +150°C. Manufactured with a glass passivated chip for optimum reliability, these devices are designed to protect voltage sensitive components from high voltage transients.

These devices are ideal for commercial, industrial, entertainment, avionics, and automotive applications.

The 3SMC5.0A thru 3SMC170A (Uni-Directional) and 3SMC5.0CA thru 3SMC170CA (Bi-Directional) are available in bulk or 3,000 pieces on Tape and Reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
